WE ALL LOVE OUR CHRONOS, BUT IF YOU'RE NEW TO THE SYSTEM, I AM SURE YOU HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! IT DOES WAY MORE THAN BASIC HUMANE TASKS SUCH AS DISPLAYING THE TIME AND BODILY COMPOSITION. IT HAS A TRACKER, REVIVAL STIM TECHNOLOGY, AND OF COURSE, YOUR OWN PERSONAL DIGITAL COMPANION! Third generation chronos, which are the newest and most popular among the moralian population, can be highly optimized for your own personal interests and needs! however, before you get too excited and rush to get one, there is one caveat.
not everyone can have a chrono, your brain has to be conditioned for it, just like how we build our muscles to get stronger. your chrono utilizes one specific part of your brain that is deemed your strongest via various tests and simulations. it is then paired with that portion of your brain, whether it be your hippocampus, temporal lobe, etcetera. so although a chrono can be highly customized, it must be within the confines of your brain's strength.
to elaborate, someone with a strong occipital lobe might be able to see things differently with a chrono, such as invisible gases and radioactivity. furthermore, if paired with a completely optional digital companion, one might be able to see in the dark via automatic adjustments of your eye. we encourage you to ask others via the community section of our site about their chronos, as a way to get to know the community more!
HEX
The hex is THE pride and joy OF moralian CULTURE for two reasons. it is a technological wonder in its own right, harnessing the power of both nanotechnology AND NEUROLOGICAL SCIENCE! sURGE-MARAM, THE LEADING MORALAN NEUROLOGIST, AND HER HUSBAND SCI-DOUST, WERE PAIRED ON THIS PROJECT ALMOST TWO DECADES AGO! their MINDS BIRTHED A TENCHOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT NEVER SEEN BEFORE, BUT THEY ALSO BORE A SON, rYKE, Whom mORALO HAS HIGH HOPES FOR!
THE HEX WHEN WHOLE IS ABOUT 23 CENTIMETERS IN DIAMATER AND 66 CENTIMETERS IN CIRCUMFERENCE. once THE OUTER SHELL (CONSISTING OF NANOS that are stored in a hexagonal pattern) DISEMBARKS, IT LEAVES BEHIND AN INNER CORE MADE UP OF crystallized diamonds, straight from volatix's core!
Hexes perform many different recreational functions, thus how your hex reacts to specified commands may vary. To elaborate, the image you see above is a hex in its default "charged" state, with highly concentrated connection lines that force the nanos to bounce their reactive energy off of each other. the purpose of this is to essentially make the hex self-sustaining and to always remain "charged". if you see a hex in a more "filled-in" state, if you will, that simply means it has received the idle command and is awaiting the execution of aforementioned command.
it emits stunning hues of blues, yellows, and oranges through pulses. although the nanos can be highly customized via the neurological connection with one's chrono, the inner core can not due to undisclosed reasons.
a hex is paired TO A SINGULAR CHRONO AT A TIME AND can PRODUCE LIFE-LIKE IMAGES. THE IMAGE quality is DEPENDENT ON HOW MANY NANOS COME WITH YOUR HEX, AS WELL AS THE STRENGTH OF YOUR THOUGHT. THE MORE detailed your mental picture is, the more believable the nano-generated field will be.
the size of a nano field is capped at roughly 15-17 meters in diameter, with a height of 11-13 meters, again, depending on how many nanos you have.

before we tackle this section, we would like to thank Ryke Doust for his contributions to the Moralo archive. we interviewed the prestigious son of sci-doust and surge-maram in order to get a more personal answer about the usage of a hex. here is one small snippet of our conversation with him:
"How would you describe the hex in one word?"
"Well, i guess i would say peaceful."
"What makes it peaceful, ryke?"
"People assume peaceful means quiet and blissful. To me, it brings peace from the world. There's no hate, no work, no academy, no parents, no chores. but what there is a lot of is laughter."
"That sounds wonderful. How does it work, do you think of what you want the nanos to show every time or do you have presets, if you will?"
"A bit of both technically. the hex is paired to my chrono and my best friend and i tried to imagine what a park would have looked like before, well, the war. he found an old textbook describing a type of tree with pink leaves, but i forgot the name of it; he would know. but anyways, once we bounced ideas back and forth we got something we were happy with and although the hex does have to register what i am thinking about, because i remember what it looks like every time we want to be in the green, i suppose you could say it is a preset. you should really ask coran---"

NetVen
Ah, the netven, where our collective knowledge is shared! Whereas the Moralo Archive stores all of our information, we use network venues to share said information.
The network is simple in nature: It is the digitized Moralo Archive. So even if the Moralo Archive is closed like it has been recently, its information is still available.
Venues are essentially regulated browser forums where people can share information, opinions, and other miscellaneous ideas in an organized place. Think of venues as sections within the physical Moralo Archive: fiction, non-fiction, cooking, entertainment, etcetera.
One can create their own private venue for a price since it helps fund the Moralo Archive's many different functions and facilities.
Venues aren't just browsers, but they can also be used as a social platforming site. Our most popular is "Paradise". Please refer to the sub-section on Paradise for more information!
You may have noticed we mentioned venues are regulated, and although we value the freedom for one to voice their diverse opinions, false information is dangerous for our youth and can corrupt malleable minds.
Here on Moralo, we value our next generation just as highly as ourselves, so as long as purposeful misinformation is not spread, one's access to a specific venue will not be revoked. Having your access removed from one Venue doesn't restrict your overall usage of the Moralian Network. however, after three offenses, you will lose access to the entire net for an entire solar rotation.
Please use information responsibly, as it can be a powerful tool!
THE REDEMPTION PROGRAM (RP)
The Redemption Program is a sensitive subject for all of Moralo, but as the wise Kariya Ostoona once said, "Our history doesn't define us. it merely shapes us. It's what you do with your past that matters, not what your past does to you."
During the final days of the Heritake War, many prisoners of war (POW) were held captive until the "End treaty" was signed. Through the decree of the Head, it was decided that the body would give all those willing a chance to redeem themselves. Those who refused were banished to one of the uninhabitable moons.
Members of the body would interview selected significant P.O.W. and decide if they were worthy of the program. If deemed worthy, they would pick a problem Moralo has, caused by the war, and find ways to fix it. Whether those issues be hunger, famine, rebellion, or other issues, it was their responsibility to tackle them. Failure to produce substantial positive results would result in termination from the program.
Those who produces results or even a solution, were given full pardons and awarded a "y" in their name.
Only one person has achieved this honor.
CLOUD
Although illegal substances are not something we would proudly include on our website for outsiders, we understand it is an important thing to do in order to warn newcomers of Heritake.
Cloud is not addictive, however, it heavily alters your brain chemistry temporarily. Take enough of it in one sitting, and it could permanently remove the ability for your brain to produce dopamine. It is traditionally used via inhalation through custom devices, however, recently some have found a way to link it directly to your brain via a chrono connection. This causes a more potent experience with the tradeoff of being far more dangerous.
This substance causes its users to experience heightened states of joy and, in some rare cases, personality altering experiences. However, some distributors increase its potency to destroy your brain chemistry, kill your brain cells at an astronomical rate, or essentially lobotomize you. This is done to make you a slave of sort, except you believe you want it since it creates a pseudo-Stockholm syndrome. This makes it almost impossible to create a case against the distributors because the user then believes it to be a consensual service. In other words, a single use of Cloud has the ability to make you stuck in Heritake as a slave to your own mind, as well as someone else's. It is not worth it.
No one knows what Cloud is made out of since it comes from only one supplier who then sends it out to many others. It appears to be a recipe passed down through the generations since it has been around for a century.
This leads us to our second reason for making Cloud publicly known to outsiders: any viable information deemed useful will lead to a reward of your choosing (within reason).
five minutes of heightened joy is not worth a lifetime of potential depression or slavery.

Paradise has become a very popular venue among the younger population of THE NET! It serves as a place to share personal information and experiences, whether through text, photos, or videos! Thanks to the energy provided by Volatix's crystalized diamonds, the servers can hold an abundant of storage and power. THUS, IT ALLOWS The speed and rate of data connection/transfer TO BE TRULY REMARKABLE!
